Victorian Wooden Bowl
In the 19th century kitchen, in addition to the numerous pottery bowls used, would be various sizes of wooden bowls. These would be used to prepare dry goods and are also used as dairy bowls for foods like yoghurt and cream.
This bowl is a deep wooden bowl and would have been in place in most kitchens in the 19th century.
The bowl is quite sound of structure, but has several ancient worm holes which have been treated.
