A Large Bottle of Red Ink by Stephens Writing Fluid
Before the invention of the fountain pen, all correspondence would be done using a dip pen and ink. Inkwells and accessories came in all shapes and sizes and for all pockets, from the humble stone bottle to the wonderfully ornate bronze and silver inkwells.
This is a large bottle of ink from the first quarter of the 20th century, because of its size this would probably have been used in a school or clerks office.
