Art Deco Silver Plated Egg Coddler
This is a fun object and would have been a familiar piece on the breakfast table of a wealthy household. The lid of the egg shaped silver plated body lifts off, to reveal an egg holder with four sections and a handle, it sits on three slayed legs and has a small burner, which would be filled with parrafin or lamp oil, and would be lit to keep the eggs warm.
Condition of the silver plate is good and there are no dinges or splits to the body.
