Victorian Bread Plate
Victorian pottery plate, made by Anchor Pottery, used for serving bread with afternoon tea. The plate has a hand-painted floral design in blue and burnt umber, very popular in Victorian England.
This plate would have been owned by a household of moderate means or used below stairs in the servants quarter.
The plate is in good condition. There is a pattern number on the back of 1932, to denote the number of the plate design, not the year of manufacture.
Dimensions: 29.5cm diameter.
